Helles Have Gårdcafé

Helles Have, a cosy farm café, located in idyllic surroundings with a garden and a view of the fields and Stege Nor.

Guests can sit outside in the beautiful garden, in the courtyard or inside the old stable building, which has been converted into a farm café with soul and charm.

The café is run by Helle, who makes all the food herself from scratch - and preferably with ingredients from her own garden or from local producers on Møn. Helle says: 'For me, quality is important. And then I have done my best to create a cosy place both inside and outside. I hope that guest who come to my garden will have an experience out of the ordinary. Hopefully, they think it's nice and cosy and appreciate home-made food.’

In the café you can get lunch, cake and ice cream. Lunch is selected pieces of smørrebrød and panini, made on home-baked sourdough bread. Today's cake varies, and chocolate cookies are always on the menu. On selected days, Helle makes a large cake buffet, where you can eat all the cake you want. Helle's ice cream is creamy and made like Italian Gelato with berries from her own garden, e.g. strawberry and elderflower sorbet. The milk ice cream is made from organic whole milk with real vanilla, Belgian chocolate or homemade salted caramel.

Helle makes juice from her own harvest, which varies over the season: rhubarb, elderflower and blackcurrant juice. The local coffee roaster, Øristeriet, supplies the coffee to the café and A.C. Perch's Thehandel delivers tea. The wine is i.a. from Hjelm Vingård on Møn, Denmark's first wine farmer, and then you can enjoy a cold beer from Møn Bryghus. When it's warm, Helle also makes iced tea and iced coffee.

In addition to the farm café, Helles Have also has a glamping area at the bottom of the garden with a view of the fields, forest and Stege Nor. Helles Have has 3 luxury tents that are rented out to people who would like to sleep in a good bed out in the middle of the beautiful nature with the opportunity to enjoy the starry sky by the campfire and wake up to the birds singing.
